It’s close to a year since I had my portraits done with you. One of the most important and fun things I have ever done. I am so grateful to you for that opportunity. For I have FOUR portraits that I LOVE.

I had the privilege of having Lori as my photographer for glamour pictures…at first I was a little wary and nervous as I am not a “glam” girl at all! …Lori was very particular in her vision and poses –right down to the finger tips which ensured me that she knew exactly what looks great in a photo.  We had loads of laughs and she made me feel comfortable, beautiful, sexy and for that hour and 1/2  I felt truly glamorous!  Then I viewed the photos! WOW! I had absolutely no idea what to expect but the photos were beyond any expectations.  They were absolutely gorgeous and I truly could have chosen every one!  Lori is professional, knowledgeable, and skilled.  This with her warm, caring demeanour is a perfect combination for a photographer for any occasion! ~so

I met Lori this summer at a wedding  (she was the photographer for the bride)  I asked about taking some picture of my daughter some time. She said yes without a blink and took the most stunning spur of moment picture that day. Lori proved at that moment what a true professional/compassionate person she is for photography. ~sr

As we expected, we were absolutely blown away by the pictures! They are stunning (and I don't often feel that about myself in photos), but you have a way of making me feel and look like a princess. These photos, with my ponies at my parents' farm, will be cherished forever and it brought a tear to my eye thinking of how many times I walked those pastures with my horse in tow.  Now I finally have a beautiful photo to hold dear to my heart and I know my folk feel the same way about it. They have seen me grow up on that farm and now they get to have a photo of their daughter "all grown up." Take care and thank you ever so much for your time and creative eye! You amaze me! ~mr

Lori, thank you for pouring SO MUCH of yourself into ensuring my vision of the perfect gift for my fiancé was realized. Champagne, strawberries, contorting yourself for that perfect shot- you literally stop at nothing! I couldn't believe when I saw the initial gallery of images that they weren't even edited. They are at once beautiful, sexy and timeless, a testament to both your innate ability behind the camera and your talent for immediately putting someone at ease! I couldn't be happier with the results and the journey itself was an absolute blast! ~kh

When I was approached by Lori to see if I would be interested in a boudoir shoot I strongly hesitated! Instantly I knew that I was not confident enough with myself at all to allow someone to photograph me in that way! After 2 years of arguing with myself, I thought I am never going to be this age again, in this kind of shape, maybe more wrinkles soon, so I emailed Lori and booked it before I could back out!!  I was able to pick my own outfits and made sure that I was comfortable in every single one of them.  Going into my session I was nervous, I really didn’t know what to expect…Lori was more than prepared, and had the highest level of professionalism throughout the entire session.  Never once did I feel uncomfortable.  As soon as the camera started to click I felt more and more confident with myself. Lori was able to make me feel so comfortable I even had a phenomenal time with the entire experience!  After seeing the finished pictures, I can honestly say my self-confidence boosted about 100%!  When I first saw the gallery of my  photos it surpassed my expectations 100%! For some reason I always focus on the negative aspects of myself, and what I can be working on to make it better. As I look at these pics, I realize it’s time to start appreciating and loving me and focusing on all the great qualities I have inside and out! And for that Lori, I THANK you the most!  I would recommend this to anyone and especially those who are afraid because they have the most to gain from your talent! Awesome doesn’t even begin to explain you…..amazing, fun, talented, beautiful, generous, driven, comforting, and the list could go on! ~kr

Lori came all the way to the beaches of the Mayan Riviera to be our wedding photographer.  She followed it up with another road trip to our local reception at a little ranch on the prairies.  And those were the very least of her efforts.  She was AMAZING!  You cannot emphasize enough the importance and the value of capturing the hundreds of tiny special moments, the textures, the colours, the emotions, and the spirit of an event as big as your own wedding.  Lori did so perfectly.  She was tireless. She was professional.  She was deeply caring.  She was a very rare kind of special.  Because of Lori we forever have a perfectly captured memory of the greatest time of our lives.

My photo shoot was an amazing, liberating experience. Like many women, I focussed on the weaknesses I perceived in my appearance and did not have high expectations for having those flaws maintained in digital form for prosperity. I thought it was something I’d push through so I could give a gift to someone I cared about but, in the end, my photo shoot was as much a gift to me as it was anyone else. Lori, her assistant and even the make-up artist, created a completely comfortable environment in which I not only felt at ease but started to have fun. To be honest at some point I forgot how little clothing I was wearing and simply enjoyed the experience of being a girl, celebrating who I am and how beautiful I felt without focussing on the little flaws that seem to stare back at me in my weaker moments. I enjoyed it a great deal. Without the fun lighthearted, complimentary approach taken by Lori I don’t think I could have let go and left the experience with positive memories but because of her demeanor and professionalism a positive memory is what I now have.
I’m thinking of doing it again on my 40th birthday as a gift to myself. ~jw
