I’ve been intrigued with the idea of this offer for - ahem - years! An opportunity to provide mini-sessions in my garage, an opportunity for people (women, men, kids - everyone is welcome!) to come ‘as they are’ (which is something I normally encourage anyway 😉) OR to throw caution to the wind and adventure with a new style, an opportunity to ‘play’ in beautiful NATURAL light without the extra demands of studio lights + setup, and an opportunity for those who may not be able to spend on a full portrait session right now but would love the experience: YES, PLEASE! …emmm’I right?! 🥳
The above images, of our two kids, were captured on August 31 (the day before we moved our son across the country for uni!). For our daughter, I asked her to come as she most wished to be captured authentically - and so it was: a back to school skirt, yesterday’s hair, and minimal makeup ❤️. Same went for our son, who is less excited about having his photo taken (but who humours his mom 😉): the cap, t-shirt and pyjamas is how he came down for breakfast and so we snapped a few then (literally, less than 5 minutes) but, as he was leaving the next day, I asked if he’d also do me the favour of showering and putting on something other than pjs lol… his jeans were packed and so slacks and a sweater were donned for the other shot here.
All told, I think I shot for about 30 minutes IN TOTAL 👊… and it was SO. MUCH. FUN!

Depending on the sun, session times will be between 10 - 2/3pm (with the possibility of slight movement on either end) on: Sun Sept 17, Wed 20, Fri 22, and Sat 23.
To secure your slot simply email me: lori@lorimaloney.com… don’t delay as times are limited. Full payment of $100 is required to confirm your session.
These mini sessions will be around 25 minutes and only on-the-hour (so no overlap with others). Sessions will proceed rain or shine, barring any truly crazy weather. Each participant will receive one digital, web-ready file that has been lovingly chosen + retouched by your photographer. 🤗 It may be in colour or black and white, it may have more of an editorial vibe or take more of a simplistic approach… and THIS, this will add to the fun of it (rest assured, my number one goal is ALWAYS to have you looking like: YOU, on your best day!) There will also be a private online gallery for you to peruse other shots from your session with additional web and/or print files available for $45 or $85 each respectively (big savings!). Cancellations made prior to 72 hours before the session will be refunded 50%, cancellations within 72 hours will forfeit their slot and payment. Should I need to cancel any sessions due to unforeseen circumstances you may either rebook for a different day or receive a full refund.
