Among some of my favourite portraits of his are: Ernest Hemingway, Georgia O’Keeffe, Martin Luther King Jr., Pablo Picasso, Nelson Mandela, and Pablo Casals. However, when choosing which to draw inspiration from + to honour, I was most drawn to the portrait he made of Sir Winston Churchill, titled: ‘The Roaring Lion’.
